Spinach smoothie

Recipe makes about 2 glasses

I love a good skyr smoothie, and I first tried this one a long time ago and have made many variations of it since. This version is filling and full of energy, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

 

Ingredients:

  • 300 g Ísey vanilla skyr
  • 3 handfuls of spinach
  • 250 ml vanilla drink (or low-fat milk)
  • 1 banana
  • 6–8 dates
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • Ice cubes
  • 1–2 tsp spirulina powder + extra for the sides of the glass

 

Instructions:

  1. Put everything into a blender and blend well.
  2. For fun, decorate the inside of the glass with a little skyr and spirulina powder before pouring in the drink.
  3. Enjoy while the drink is cold.
