Fluffy Dinner Rolls

Yield: 16 rolls

  • 640 g flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast (12 g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100 g Ísey Skyr natural
  • 80 g butter (room temperature)
  • 2 eggs (+ egg wash)
  • 170 ml warm water
  • 2 tablespoons honey

 

  1. Combine all ingredients except egg wash in a bowl of a stand mixer.
  2. Attach the dough hook and run on low speed for few minutes.
  3. Transfer dough to a lightly greased bowl and cover with a kitchen towel. Let rise for 1,5 hours.
  4. Divide the dough and form 16 rolls. Cover with a kitchen towel again for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 200°C, brush the rolls with the egg wash.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden.
